First we tasted six Italian wines - four overpriced, one corked and one very lovely expensive bottle of Vin Santo (Italian dessert wine).

Then we tasted 8 or 9 bottles of really awful South African wines. (I'm not usually a fan of South African wines anyway, though I have had one or two I liked.)

Then we tasted 5 examples of overpriced California crap.

Now there is more wine in the back room for us to taste. Woohoo. I can't wait (sarcasm abounds).

They say a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. But a bad day of wine tasting is still a long day at work.
